A dress code fosters unity, discipline, and professionalism in the studio. Proper dance attire allows instructors to clearly observe alignment and technique, while ensuring students can move safely and confidently. Certain classes, such as Tap and Ballet, require specific shoes or dancewear, which help support proper training and enhance performance. A consistent dress code also helps create a focused, distraction-free learning environment where every dancer can thrive.
Local Options:
Target and Walmart usually carry a great selection of affordable dancewear for younger dancers. For a wider selection, The Dance Store in Salem (1127 Broadway St NE, Salem 97301) is a great choice.
