Attendance Policies

Regular attendance is essential for proper dance development. There are no refunds for missed lessons or holidays. You may make-up a class, missed for any reason, by attending another class suitable to you. The make-up class list is available on the studio calendar page.

Studio Communication

SBPAC uses electronic forms of communication; email, text, parent portal, studio website, and occasionally Facebook and Instagram. Our studio calendar, make-up schedule, and many other informational documents are housed on this website. Please check our website first if you have any questions.

Please be sure that your information is correct in the parent portal and that you have opted in to receive texts. It is also helpful to commit to regularly checking there for communication.

Performance Opportunities

Silverton Ballet will present a children’s musical theatre production in early June. There are also many performance opportunities at local events through out the year.

Class Withdrawal Policies

We understand that schedules can change! If your dancer needs to stop attending class, please let us know directly—either in person, by phone, or by email. Just not showing up won’t be considered notice, and tuition will continue until we hear from you. Please note, we’re unable to offer refunds for past tuition once it’s been charged.

Observation & Visitation Days

We know how meaningful it is for parents to stay connected and celebrate their dancer’s progress. That’s why we provide convenient livestream access through The Band App, allowing you to cheer on your dancer—whether you're at home, at work, or on the go.

Upcoming Observation Dates:
• First lesson in November
• First lesson in December
• First lesson in February
• First lesson in March

During these scheduled Observation Weeks, all classes will be livestreamed through The Band App. Simply join our Band page via the mobile app or desktop site using the link provided below. One of the best features of this platform is its flexibility: if you’re unable to watch the class live, a recording will be available to view anytime for up to 30 days.

When setting up your profile, please use the same name listed on your Silverton Ballet account. This ensures we can verify access and direct you to the correct class content.

To protect our students’ privacy and the creative work of our staff, we kindly ask that you do not share or repost any videos.

"The teachers’ patience, skill, and genuine care for each student truly sets SBPAC apart. We couldn’t be more grateful for the beautiful foundation they’ve given our daughter over the past 10 years, both in dance technique and in confidence."
